Solidarity: for sale copies of the book "The flight of Albatros" by G. Marizza

few weeks ago we received from retired General John Marizza some copies of his book FLIGHT OF THE ALBATROS (Ed. Valdostana Printing - 272 pages of 2000)

Along with Marizza we decided to sell some copy of this fine book to raise some fund to be sent to ASEM Charity Association, with headquarters in Beira, with which we are in contact, and that we have personally met three years ago. We have already sent money to this association in the recent past to adopt a child in Mozambique.

The Book of General Marizza (then Chief of Staff in Mozambique with the rank of Lt. Col.) is quite a tome of 272 pages, full of anecdotes and stories relating to the mission, outline of the historical context in which it began, its preparation, the first flights and the frenetic activity, with many original photos attached. The list price of this large volume is 67 € but to sell to the first that were asked at a special price to be agreed with "our" General.

those pleasant hours were spent at the Rho our eighth meeting Albatros. The lunch usually abundant [now the line does not care any more: o)] and the inevitable stories told by the most exuberant made by Framed in a ritual that repeats itself for some years regularly. Laughter and memories, backslapping and handshakes: yes, that alternate with new faces in faces you've seen before, maybe meet some past albatross.
The number of participants is more or less always around to score (except the last one to Rally Berardi Pinerolo where we were many more) and present the Brigade Julia is always in small numbers ... but that's okay ... maybe in the future will be (we) more!
